  • Training in 2007: Training on i-screen, loop mediated isothermal amplification technique an alternate approach to nested PCR technology for detecting WSSV from shrimp broodstock and postlarvae. This training program was organized by WorldFish Center-Bangladesh and conducted by D. Ramraj, Padmanabha Lab (Pvt) Limited, Chennai, India.
  • Training in 2007: Certification of Aquaculture Product Quality and Traceability organized jointly by UNIDO & BFRI. The training program consists of HACCP audit of shrimp hatchery, shrimp farm and processing plant.
  • Training in 2007: Training in shrimp brood stock development, larvae management, probiotic development, enrich nutrition and feed management and disease management in both hatchery and farm site organized by ASA-USAD.
  • Training in 2007: Awareness on Gender and Development, day long training program was mainly on the basics of gender development, how to develop gender equity and equality in the shrimp value chain etc. This training program was organized by WorldFish Center-Bangladesh.
  • Training in 2006: Disease and Quality of Shrimp postlarvae, for 2 days long training program different diseases of shrimp and their remedy and shrimp health management were discussed. This training program was organized by WorldFish Center-Bangladesh.
  • Training in 2006: Training on shrimp broodstock development and larvae management in the hatchery organized by ASA-USAD. This training also consisted of shrimp seed certification standards in hatchery level.
  • Training in 2005: HACCP audit of processing plant; for 5 days long training program hazard analysis, diagnosis and preventive measures taken by fish processing plant had been demonstrated. This training program was organized by ATDP-DoF.
  • Training in 2005: SSOQ Certifiers Course, for 7 days long training program certification standards for shrimp hatcheries, farms depots-transporters and processors had been theoretically and practically demonstrated. SSOQ certifiers course was organized by ATDP-SSOQ and conducted by Aquaculture Certification Council Inc. USA.
  • Training in 2004: PCR based shrimp diseases diagnosis in India, diagnosis of various shrimp viral diseases eg: WSSV, IHHNV, TSV, MBV and also various shrimp bacterial diseases based on molecular techniques were comprised in this training program. This training program was organized by Padmanava Laboratories, Chennai, India.
  • Training in 2003: Post harvest handling of shrimp, this training contained various guidelines for the shrimp farmers, depot owners, transporters and processors to maintain good quality of shrimp products for exports. This training was conducted by ATDP-SSOQ.
  • Training in 1994: Completed a training course on administration, office management and communication organized by Graduate Training Institute, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh
  • Workshop in 2006: Gender Equity in Shrimp Industry, day long workshop was focused on gender empowerment in different value chain of the shrimp industry. This program was organized by WorldFish Center-Bangladesh.
  • Seminar in 2003: Global Aquaculture discussion Forum, this seminar set up based on a national and international focus for research and training in molecular biology and biotechnology for the shrimp industry, some aspects of its disease (especially WSSV), nutrition, immunostimulants, human rights and environment issue.
  • Seminar from 1995-2000: Society of Fisheries Science, Japan and Fish Pathology, Japan, participated and presented papers in every national and international seminar organized by the indicated societies.
  • Seminar in 1999: Asian Fisheries Society, presented a paper in the international seminar on Asian Fisheries Forum Thailand.
